A summer of music.

Well, nobody reads this anyway, but sorry I never updated! It turned out we didn't have a sound check party before our concert on July 25. That was a bummer, but we did get to see the boys playing dodge ball outside of their tour bus! Can you spot the boys? :) The concert itself was amazing. They had so many tricks up their sleeves this time around. It gets better every time we see it! We can't wait to see the whole thing front and center! Touching Jonas, baby. That's our goal.

Then, July 27, we all got to hang out with our friends The Veronicas! Thanks to Vik, we got backstage passes for the entire show. The bands that were included in the Summer Concert Series were NeverShoutNever, The Academy Is..., The Veronicas, Gym Class Heroes, and the headlining act, Boys Like Girls. We were forunate enough to see the bands performing from the side of the stage and my dad took loads of great pictures. After The Veronicas performed, we hung out with Vik, Jungle George, Lisa and others in catering. Such fun! Kara and I finally got our picture with Jess that we've been needing to finish our collection!

Not long after those special events, dear ol' Dad took us to see Demi Lovato at the Ohio State Fair on August 6. We had great seats: on the floor and in the center. Demi rocked the house, just as we had expected. Her opening act was Jordan Pruitt, then Demi came on right away. The show was great and I really need to get my hands on her new album!

Next week, August 25, we are heading to Nashville for our second Jonas Brothers concert of '09. Dad is a real trooper because the very next day we're going to Columbus! We have front row seats, that's worth missing the first day of my senior year for, right? Right! Our good friends Sue and Grace will be only a couple rows behind us along with another one of Kara's best friends, Ashley. Live to party!

And how could I forget the latest concert we all attended? August 12, my dad tore up the stage at The Fraze in Dayton with The Stumps. Kara and I stayed through set up, sound check, and we were sitting at the side of the stage for the entire performance. We got to see our friends Sue, Grace, Dave, Melissa, and lots of others that night. We had so much fun and Daddy gave it his all.

Thanks for reading!
